Experienced Paraprofessional Needed in Milpitas, CA!

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly experienced Paraprofessional for the next school year. This is a full time position for the whole school year with a high school caseload. The director is looking to have this position filled this week so apply today!

• M-F
• Highschool caseload

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
• State Paraprofessional Licensure is preferred
• School experience is required
• Mild/Mod/Severe High School Experience 

Responsibilities:
 

• Help students with personal care tasks, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility, as needed, while respecting their dignity and privacy.
• Implement behavior management strategies and interventions to support positive behavior and address challenging behaviors in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teachers, and other staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs.
• Document student progress, behavior incidents, and other relevant information to support data-driven decision-making and communication with parents and other stakeholders.
• Participate in professional development activities and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge as a Paraprofessional.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times while working with students, families, and colleagues.
