Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for an exclusive role in Wood Dale, IL.

Position: 1:1 RN for Kindergarten Student on Ventilator Location: Wood Dale, IL Hours: 8:20 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Providing specialized medical care and continuous monitoring for a kindergarten student reliant on a ventilator
• Accompanying the student on the bus to and from school, ensuring safe transportation
• Remaining with the student throughout the school day, offering unwavering support and assistance, excluding lunch breaks
• Collaborating closely with school staff, healthcare professionals, and the student's family to ensure holistic care
• Accurately documenting observations, interventions, and any changes in the student's condition

Assignment Details:

• Immediate start with the duration extending until June 16
• Potential extension to cover summer programming and continue into the next school year

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Illinois
• Prior experience with ventilator-dependent pediatric patients highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to the unique needs and challenges of the student
