Position: Certified School Nurse (Elementary Caseload) Location: Dixon, CA School Year: 24/25

Overview:

• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and immunization reviews for elementary students.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and healthcare providers to meet students' medical needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and first aid as required.
• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions like asthma, diabetes, and allergies.
• Develop individualized health plans for students with special medical needs.
• Provide health education to students, staff, and families to promote wellness.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions.

Requirements:

• Valid California RN license.
• School nurse certification from an accredited program.
• Previous experience with elementary-age children preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
