Elementary Teachers needed for 24-25 SY

Job Title: General Education Teacher
Location: Brooklyn Center, MN (northern Minneapolis)
Duration: 24-25 School Year

Job Description:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated General Education Teachers for elementary classrooms in Brooklyn Center, MN. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in providing quality instruction and support to students in grades K-5.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in all subject areas, including math, science, language arts, and social studies.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students and accommodate different learning styles.
• Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement effective instructional plans and interventions.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress, discuss concerns, and solicit feedback.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license or certification in Minnesota.
• Experience teaching elementary school students, preferably in an urban setting.
• Strong content knowledge in math, science, language arts, and social studies.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching practices.
