Elementary Special Education Teacher - Darlington, SC

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our team in Darlington, SC. As a contracted professional with ProCare Therapy, you'll have the opportunity to bring your expertise and passion for special education to a dynamic learning environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic and social growth.
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to address the unique needs of each student.
- Utilize effective instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning styles of students.
- Conduct assessments to measure student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and behavior.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of South Carolina.
- Previous experience working with elementary students with special needs is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each student.
