At ProCare, our mission is to encourage each child to confidently and proudly achieve his or her full potential. We are working with a school district that is located in North Arlington, NJ that is looking to hire a contract Spanish teacher to join their team for the 2024-2025 School Year.
The selected candidate will be hired on as a full time contracted employee through ProCare Therapy. A full school year contract will be awarded for you to complete. As a Spanish Teacher you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective Spanish language lessons for Elementary students. You will inspire a love for the Spanish language and culture while helping students develop their language proficiency, communication skills, and cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic Spanish language lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking risks in their language learning.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their language skills.
- Integrate cultural elements into lessons to promote an understanding and appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- New Jersey teaching certification in Spanish or eligibility for certification.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish.
- Strong understanding of language acquisition and pedagogy.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably at the [grade level] level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Interview Process:
- 10 –15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 Minute virtual interview directly with the school district
- Offer is typically within 24-48Â hours of the virtual interview
