Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Windsor Locks, CT. This position involves working full-time with an elementary caseload, focusing on testing and counseling services for students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education services
• Administer standardized tests to assess cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational programming
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students with social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop interventions and support plans for students
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results, counseling sessions, and student progress

Requirements:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Connecticut
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing high-quality services to students and families
