ELA Teacher Opening - Mat Leave - Near Port Chester, NY

This W2 contract position offers competitive hourly rates ranging from $30 to $40 per hour, with full-time hours of 30+ qualifying for benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K retirement.

Position Details:

• Title: ELA Teacher
• Compensation: $30-$40 per Hour
• Employment Type: W2 Contract
• Location: School Based
• Benefits: Full-time hours qualify for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K retirement
• Program: State Assessed Therapeutic Support Program (7-12)
• Certification: Must be Certified in ELA (SPED certification is a bonus)
• Schedule: 6 periods of ELA, one for each grade
• Support: Teacher's assistant onsite for support
• Student Population: Most students diagnosed with anxiety / OHI (Other Health Impairment)
• Class Size: 8-12 students per class
• Duration: ASAP-EOSY (covering for a medical leave)

Requirements:

• State certification as an ELA Teacher
• SPED certification preferred
• Experience working with students with anxiety/OHI
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
