ProCare Therapy, a nationally-recognized educational staffing agency, is actively hiring a dedicated RN to join our school community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students in grades K-2nd Grade.
 
Job Title: School Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: New Milford, CT
Employment Type: Contract, Full-Time, Monday - Friday
Caseload Details: General Nursing Duties, Grades K-2nd

Responsibilities: 

• Administer prescription and non-prescription medication to students in accordance with applicable laws and directives, following guidelines described in the School Health Services Manual.
• Establish and maintain appropriate medical records.
• Provide basic first aid and attends to student health needs. 
• Monitor student health status through needs assessments, screening procedures, examinations, observations, and analyses. 

Requirements:

• Current RN licensing in CT.
• Bachelor's degree for RN

The district is looking to hire for the 2023-2024 school year! Hourly rate for this opening is negotiable and will be experience-based.
