Certified School Nurse

Contract Certified School Nurse for the 2023-2024 School Year

We are working with a school district located in Redwood City, CA that is looking to hire certified school nurse (CSN) for the 2023-2024 school year with the opportunity to renew for the following school year.

Job Type: Contract Certified School Nurse

• Full Time: 31.25 hours per week
• Hours: 8:00 - 3:00
• TK-8th grade caseload 
• California Certified School Nurse Certificate required
• Itinerant position: 3 school sites
• RN will be based in school's health clinic
• Responsibilities will include: following health care plans, diabetic care, asthma care, medication administration, first aid, triage, etc. 

Requirements:

• Certified School Nurse Certificate (CSN) 
• Active RN license in California
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
• Previous school nursing or pediatric experience is preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Interview Process:

• 10 –15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
• 20-30 Minute virtual interview directly with the school district
• Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview

The school district is looking to hire! Hourly rate for this opening is negotiable and will be experience-based.
