Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to students in a school environment, ensuring their health and well-being.
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized procedures as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and assess students' health conditions and promptly respond to emergencies or medical concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized health plans for students with specific medical needs.
- Educate school staff on health-related matters and promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Current School Registered Nurse (CA) license in CA, with BSN.Â
- Experience in pediatric, school, or community health nursing is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of health assessment, treatment, and emergency protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic situations and make quick decisions in a fast-paced school setting.
