Job Description: We are currently hiring School Paraprofessionals to join our dedicated team in Plaistow, NH, for the period of January 25, 2024, to June 14, 2024. The selected candidates will be working with elementary level students diagnosed with Autism and Behavior challenges, providing crucial support to facilitate a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with Autism and Behavior challenges.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to enhance academic and social development.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Implement behavioral strategies and interventions as directed by the special education team.
- Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and lunchtime.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in education or related field is a plus).
- Experience working with elementary level students, particularly those with Autism and Behavior challenges.
