Archbald, PA: School Social Worker

Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified School Social Worker for a contract position in Archbald, PA. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive social work services to students, families, and school staff.
• Conduct assessments to identify students' social and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' social and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a positive and inclusive school environment.
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Pennsylvania state licensure as a School Social Worker.
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to school social work.
