Accepting Position for Summer Registured School Nurse : Des Plaines, IL

Job Description: Seeking a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse to join our caring team. As the primary healthcare provider in our school community, you will play a crucial role in promoting student health and wellness.

• Summer Position
• Start/End Date:  
  • June 24-July 18, Monday-Thursday (closed Thursday, July 4); 
  • Orientation June 18, 8:00am-3:00pm
• Hours/week: 
  • 8:00am-3:45pm (30 minute lunch)
  • 29 hours/week (21.75 the week of July 1)
• Age of student(s): 
  • We have three different sites for summer:
    • PreK/K 
    • rising 1st-4th grade
    • rising 5th-8th grade
• Weekly Competitive Pay 
• W-2 Employment 
• Full Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401k

Qualifications to be a School Nurse:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
