24-25 School Psychologist Contract

Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: Full Time, 24/25 School Year
Caseload: K-12th

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to parents, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized interventions and behavior support plans.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding students' academic and behavioral needs.

Requirements:

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Virginia.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school personnel.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
