Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) - 2024-2025 School Year - Richmond, IL

Description: We are seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in Richmond, IL, for the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves providing 1:1 interpreting services for a 4th-grade student in a general education setting. Additionally, there will be consultative minutes with a high schooler. The position is full-time, with 37.5 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter in IL 
• Experience providing interpreting services in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students and school staff
• Commitment to promoting access to education for students with hearing impairments
