2024-2025 School Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

ProCare Therapy has a school district near Frenchtown, Montana looking to hire an Occupational Therapist. Please read through the requirements/details to see if this position will be a good fit for you. 

Job Details:

• Full-Time hours for the 2024-2025 school year 
• Evaluate students PreK, K to 12 to determine their functional levels and to identify their special needs.
• Plan and implement therapeutic activities to assist special education students in benefiting from their educational experience.
• Attend ER meetings, IEP, 504 meetings for school district students as well as other meetings to collaborate with staff
• Maintain up-to-date student records including daily notes for Medicaid eligible students, progress monitoring, and other documentation
• Collaborate recommend activities/strategies to school staff to support RTI/Tiered approach
• Attend pre-referral Student Assistance Team meetings, if time allows
• Collaborate with other school staff school-based services to students in all grades.
• Caseload of 38 students, 22 consultative 

Qualifications:

• Montana Occupational Therapist license and certification required
• Preferred 1-2 years experience working with school aged children
• Must obtain all clearances and documentation to work for a school district in Montana
• Preferred background/understanding with IEP goal writing, reporting, timelines and other educational processes
