Visually Impaired Aide - Montebello, CA

Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Visually Impaired Aide to provide support to a high school male student in Montebello, CA. This is a full-time position, requiring 30 hours per week, with an immediate start date and contract ending on June 7, 2024. The aide will work on a 1:1 basis with the visually impaired student, and fluency in Braille is highly preferred.

Requirements:

• Experience working with visually impaired individuals
• Fluency in Braille highly preferred
• Ability to provide 1:1 support and assistance to a high school student
• Strong communication skills and patience
• Ability to adapt to the needs of the student and work collaboratively with educators
