1:1 - Registered Nurse-(RN) Opening in Boulder, Colorado

Compensation Requirements-

• Hourly Rate based on experience qualifications 
• starting rate- $43+

Details-

• Start: ASAP
• End: May 23 (will renew for ESY or NSY if good fit)
• 34hrs/week
• Caseload: 1:1 with a 1st grade student

• Duties include:
  • Suctioning: in the mouth as needed, not as often as before. Trach suction is very rare during the day, unless he stays outside (without the humidifier) for over 30min, then we need saline nebulizer and cough assist, which total takes about 10-15min.
  • Positioning: needs to change position every 2 hours at least, and we have a few options as you know besides his powerchair, but will need to change his diaper at least 4 times in school.
  • Tube feeding: breakfast and lunch in school. It takes 1h each feed, but he can do other things while eating. He will also have water about 5 times during school time (that's done bolus with a syringe each time, done in any position he is in).
