1:1 Registered Nurse - Gages Lake

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide 1:1 nursing care and services to a student for the upcoming school year.

Position Summary: The 1:1 Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering personalized healthcare and ensuring the safety and well-being of an individual student with specialized medical needs. You will work closely with the student, their family, school staff, and outside providers to develop and implement an appropriate healthcare plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care and services to an assigned student during the school day
• Administer medications and treatments according to the student's care plan
• Monitor the student's health status and respond to any medical situations
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with parents/guardians, school staff, and medical providers
• Ensure compliance with applicable health regulations and district policies
• Promote the inclusion of the student in all school activities while addressing their healthcare needs

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois RN license in good standing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric/school nursing experience
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies and use sound judgment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
