1:1 Nurse

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) or an exceptional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 1:1 nursing position supporting a high school female student through the end of the current school year and the entirety of the 2024-25 school year.

Position Details:

• Start Date: As soon as possible
• End Date: June 13, 2024 (end of current school year), with guaranteed renewal for 2024-25 school year
• Hours: 35+ hours per week, 7:15 AM - 2:45 PM
• 1:1 support for a high school female student with the following conditions:
  • Visual impairment
  • Seizure disorder
  • Moyamoya disease
  • Adrenal insufficiency
  • Hypothyroidism
  • Some food allergies
• The student is ambulatory and verbal

Requirements:

• Current RN license preferred, but strong LPN candidates will be considered
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other professionals
• In-person interview and meeting with the student's parents required
