Assumption Parish Schools in Napoleonville, LA, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to cover a Maternity Leave from April 1, 2024, to May 27, 2024. This is a full-time position with a caseload of 72 children. Students receive direct services, and some receive OT services through teacher consultation. Due to the spread of students across the district, travel between schools is required. Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM with a half-hour lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 72 children, providing direct OT services and consultations with teachers.
• Travel between schools within the district to ensure students receive necessary services.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and provide interventions to address students' individual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.

Requirements:

• Active Louisiana Occupational Therapist license.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
